Help For Your Child offers psychological evaluation, psychiatric medication management, and individual and family therapy under one roof, coordinated by two clinicians with a combined 80 years of experience.

Submit Your Referral
Complete the patient referral form on our website — it takes just a few minutes. Alternatively, you can call our intake team directly at (724) 850-7200. We accept referrals from pediatricians, family physicians, GPs, school psychologists, daycare centers, and large health systems including UPMC and AHN.
Intake & Coverage Verification
Our intake team contacts the family within one business day to schedule an appointment and confirm insurance coverage. We handle all verification and prior authorizations before the first visit — so there are no surprises for the family or for you.
Comprehensive Evaluation
Dr. Carosso conducts a thorough psychological evaluation and provides a formal diagnosis along with a recommended course of treatment. We also accept formal diagnoses and prescriptions from referring psychologists, psychiatrists, and developmental pediatricians.
Coordinated Treatment Plan
Based on the evaluation, a personalized treatment plan is developed — which may include individual therapy, family therapy, psychiatric medication management, behavioral health support, or a combination. Dr. Carosso and Dr. Lowenstein collaborate directly on complex or co-occurring cases.
Ongoing Communication & Progress Updates
